Sinatra! The Song Is You: A Singer's Art

Here is a book that deserves a topic. It is written by Will Friedwald and is about only songs and albums, nothing else.

It includes information about songs, albums and anything related. There is also criticism that everyone can disagree or agree, but writing this book is not an easy thing. James Kaplan might have chosen an easy path by combining many biographies of Sinatra and selling it as a "new" book, but this one must have taken a lot of research and years of listening experience.

At the end of the book, there is a keyword list so whichever song you want to chcek, you can just refer to those pages, which makes reading also easier.

I do not think that it can be read like a novel, rather it is a very good reference book, because such books what contain only information need a long time to inherit.

You are so right. This book can also be used as a discography. There are very few mistakes. His chapter and graph on "Night and Day" is worth the price of the book alone.
His consumer guide at the end of the book is great for anyone who is serious about starting a collection.
