Sinatra The Jazz Singer

A lot of people do not consider Frank Sinatra a jazz singer.I do.Granted many songs have nothing to do with jazz. But consider these facts:

1.Sinatra was strongly influenced by Billy Holiday.
2.His trumpet player of choice was Harry "Sweets" Edison who was a jazz giant with Count Basie. He was the trumpet player on many of the Capitol 50's albums. He is that sweet trumpet on the "Swing Easy" album.
3.He recorded "Sweet Loraine" with The Metronome All Stars which included Nat Cole on piano,Charlie Shavers on trumpet and Buddy Rich on drums.
4.The following albums are definetly JAZZ albums:
Ring-A-Ding-Ding(jazz arranger Johnny Mandel)
Sinatra and Swingin' Brass(jazz arranger Neil Hefti)
I Remmber Tommy(jazz arranger Sy Oliver)
Sinatra/Basie(Neil Hefti)
Sinatra At The Sands(jazz arranger Quincy Jones)
It Might As Well Be Swing(Quincy Jones)
Francis A. and Edward K.(jazz arranger Billy May)
Sinatra and Sextet
Sinatra in Australia with Red Norvo
L.A. Is My Lady with a all star jazz Orchastra

I think I proved my point.
